The Verathon BladderScan BVI 9400 is a portable, noninvasive ultrasound device designed to measure urinary bladder volume quickly and accurately. Utilizing NeuralHarmonics technology, it produces three-dimensional images of the bladder for precise volume calculations, helping clinicians assess urinary retention, post-void residual (PVR), and other urological conditions in adults and small children. The system includes a handheld ultrasound probe, a battery-operated console with a color display, and a battery charger. Results are displayed within seconds, and an integrated thermal printer allows for immediate documentation. The BVI 9400 is user-friendly, does not require a trained sonographer, and is designed to improve workflow efficiency and patient comfort in a variety of clinical settings. Note: This model has been discontinued, and official support ended in December 2023.
